I first meet Morgan last May when I spoke in her photography class. Her teacher, one of my favorite cheerleaders Ms. Gilespie took me aside and showed me some of her photography. I knew that I could photograph her in such a way that it would be reflective and fit with the subjects she likes to photograph most. Morgan, had just come from Japan where she spent some of the summer developing her artist within. I was super interested to hear all about it as it’s certainly been such a desire of mine to go there soon. I loved Morgan’s creativity when it came to her outfits and her self expression with posing, she is truly an artist.

Luis is a really special guy. First, he is a guy who is blessed by thoughtful encouraging parents. Secondly, he is extremely smart. Third, he knows who he is and that confidence and happiness and security makes him kind, fun, and gracious unto those he meets. What a quality guy. Bravo to him and to his parents. Don’t you love how his eyes are completely open and honest and how comfortable he was just being himself in front of the camera, that above all makes for great pictures.

Jeanine session was seamless and relaxing. After emailing back and forth with Jeanine for months before her appointment, I felt like I knew her when she arrived. I loved her and her mom and especially, their energy. After their viewing appointment they explained they were Taurus’s, and it made a little sense to me since my husband has a May birthday and is also a Taurus. These two were quite a pair and you could that Jeanine’s mom supported her in such a way to prepare her for the world. I loved Jeanine’s shirt that she wore for the viewing; you could tell that this girl is not only a devoted tennis player but also devoted to caring for others and supporting them. Good work Sue you’ve made a wonderful girl inside and out. Jeanine you look awesome girl!

I was so looking forward to having Mary Wright come for her session. Mary was famously one of our Mary Wrights to help Megan Green with her shoot. She had been such an assistant to Megan with her muffins and water bottles and support to Ms. Megan we were excited to finally bestow some star treatment on her, and have her be the girl in front of the camera. Megan even came this time to be Mary’s cheerleader along with Mary’s mom. The day turned out to be one we’ll have to laugh on in the coming years because it was the first time I’ve had my camera go down on a shoot, like it was shot, all gone and no more the glass totally fell off of the shutter and I had to leave our shoot to get a new one. Thank you to my clients that hung in there with me that day and had such understanding! The day and, in particular, Mary’s shoot was just awesome!

This was an exceptional shoot for me because it was so fashionista! I knew that Hayley was interested in modeling, and so we were both going for something above and beyond the normal fashion artistic shots I get. I felt so free to get great powerful artsy stuff, all for the sake of fashion because I knew it was also what Hayley wanted. Hayley had her mom and sister there to push her along, and they too really encouraged us to really push the envelop and allow creative energy and magic to flow. Quite the evening. These are some of my favorites. Oh yes, and check out those great dancers who rocked it for us in the background.

Ever since my own wedding in March, style unveiled has been making us blush! It was amazing to have my own wedding featured on STYLE UNVEILED but it’s been an entirely different and huge honor to have my own work published in STYLE UNVEILED, and this is second time! Candi and Eric had a beautiful wedding at U.S. Celluar Field this past February that expressed their style and love. View the full spread here.
On another level this was wedding and it’s location allowed for me to make a personal tribute and give honor to my brother in law Raymond Fitzgerald, who was and remains in heaven as a devoted and faithful Sox’s fan. Ironically, I ran into Ray’s friend, Tony at this wedding, who is a relative of the bride, truly a blessing and a symbol the world is wide, and goes full circle, we couldn’t help but think of Ray.
It’s an honor to be honored! I have so much to be thankful for! What amazing clients I have, and what a privilege to capture their beautiful day!

Hayley is a dancer who has the whole spectrum of life and what’s really important in perspective. She is a fine and quality product of her mother’s good raising who taught her optimism and kindness to others. This girl is grounded and growing and blossoming (well she’s pretty much blossomed) into such an amazing girl with lots to give to the world. I loved hearing about their trips down south, the mission trips they take as a family; clearly these activities have produced blessings. The future is bright for her!
