Kelsie went above and beyond what an normal client would do! She willing opened herself up to something awesome and extraordinary and came along with me on a journey. I was so impressed and excited at her flexibility to go with it and to enjoy the day and all it brought. Kelsie and I went to Hinsdale and it’s beautiful spots to capture her style, which was awesome as Hinsdale is where she originally was from, totally ironic and cool.

Katie had a beautiful fall day for her photos. I loved hearing about her life and spending time with her as found the perfect places for her. I loved loved loved her jewelry completely, and she noted it was a found with some special care by her mom. Gorgeous Girl!

Gianna’s session was on a perfect day in November, yes it was slightly colder, but the colors were all fall, and it was slightly overcast which is a photographers dream. I was excited to capture Gianna, her style and clothes and flair worked perfectly with each spot I placed her in. I love the side of her I brought out, it’s a very mature and just sophisticated, I love it, she looks beautiful!

I was so impressed to hear that Alex is a swimmer and not only that,.. she’s a hard core swimmer, like we are talking she gets up at 5 in the morning and has hours of practice, then school goes back to practice. That is awesome! It’s like Michelle Phelps cool and tough and so impressive. I was curious how this girl does it, she said Yoga…hence the yoga pic’s. This girls busy life gave me some insight on mine… we are all busy, but you just gotta keep keeping on. I’ll be thinking of her as the State meet approaches!

There is so much to say about Grant, beyond his great session. When I took these photos I has just met Grant. And ironically or totally normal for the amount of students Anna already knows, she and Grant had been in a musical together years ago and after all this time they got to see each other again. When I took Grants photos, he was a totally adorable kid in cute jeans. And then a week or two later he became my intern,… and seriously what can I not say about Grant, he’s still the cute optimistic kid in blue jeans, into theater, music, and devoted to his school newspaper, but he’s so much more than that. He’s a little light in the world for happiness, I know that to be true, cause it can be pretty busy around here and I can get a little stressed at times and there is just something about him that is great and fun to have around here.
This guy is up to some great things in life, and he’ll be so ready for college and the big wide world! I’m excited for him!

October 20th seems miles away from today… especially since the weather was so perfect that day, and is so cold now. But the up side is that Kelsey is now half way through her senior year. We went to the Arboretum to soak in the ray’s of sunshine and the fall colors of the trees. I loved Kelsey’s outfits and loved the style and vision that her mom had to even make her lay down in a pile of leaves. Seriously we got some great images!
