Carla is such a unique girl, and thats why we all love her! She’s a girl of many talents, including pole vaulting, which I thought is super fun and unique. Since Carla used to be my intern last year, I really got to see how much she’s grown and matured since then. After a year of interning she had to get a spine surgery, and its so awesome to see how much of a difference it has made in her life and how well the surgery went. Her shoot went super fast and awesome because she’s a great poser and really knows how to take a picture! I’m really impressed of the women she has become and I am so happy for her!
Ryan’s shoot was so fun! He’s a really trendy young man and has such a soft heart. He’s such a sweetie! He brought along his longboard on the shoot which added so much. He was getting the photos done for his mom, but after we got into shooting he really started to open up and get into it. I could tell he was surprised with how much he liked the photos! He has beautiful blue eyes, and I thought it was so funny that he uses a shoelace as his belt! I could totally see him cruising around on a sunny day on his board with his Ray Bans blocking the sun!
I was excited about Amanda’s session because I had heard about her from her friends, one of whom was a client and another one was Alex, my intern. I knew she was into photography too so I was all the more anticipant to get some great and artful shots that she would love. Don’t you just love her awesome blue eyes!
I was so excited to find out Rebecca was going to be attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas because thats where I was born and I have so many memories connected to it. Texas is such a cool place to be and I’m so excited for her, I know she will fit in so well. Her shoot started out with a cute country throw back on a hillside in cowboy boots, hat and complete with the guitar. Next came her adorable purple hat which brought out her bright personality. She ended the shoot with a cute dress. This girl is definitely  bubbling with joy as she prepares to make the leap into southern living!
Tessa’s shoot was so much fun, we both had a blast! She’s such an amazing incredible girl, who has a heart for people all over the world who has been on so many mission trips and has the travel bug. I loved meeting her mom to start out the shoot, she came dressed in a stylish leather jacket and I knew I was going to be able to push the artistic envelope and go for some really creative photos. Later on it was just me and Tessa which was awesome to be able to connect one on one. The best pictures were the rustic scenes with great shadows that made Tessa look like a little fashion model. She made it work because she was so open and willing to do anything. I loved it!
Delaney’s life is pretty unique seeing as her mom is a flight attendant and she gets to spend extra time with her dad on the weekends. It was so cool for me to hear how her parents handle their roles so well and was able to be their for Delaney. Her mom was actually referred to me in the air by one of my favorite clients from last fall which is so awesome. Once Delaney became more engaged she began to relax and gave the most natural pretty expressions. The sun was glowing perfectly off of her and made her light up with beauty, these three images are perfect together. Another bonus of having a mom who travels, you get to travel too. At the end of her session Delaney spoke in French to her mother about their evening plans, and dinner, I love it!
I had so much fun with Erica because I did her sister nearly 3 years ago when I was first launching Molly Grace Photography Senior Sessions. The first thing I noticed about her was her beautiful hair, it stood out so nicely in the photos. I loved seeing the similarities and differences in both sisters. I can tell they are super grounded and raised so well. Her mom, Sandy has done such a great job with them, and I still want to know her secret on looking so well! She really got in to the modeling and came up creative poses and was so at ease. I really appreciated her down to earth personality and sweetness.
Jackie is the cousin of one of my favorite previous seniors Julia Peck and beloved niece of Jackie Peck. Jackie wanted her niece to have the same amazing experience that her daughter had, and to have beautiful photos taken of her. The shoot was on a chilly March day and we made a fun girls party out of it and warmed up with some hot chocolate and Starbuck’s coffee. Jackie came super organized with all of her outfits together and cute accessories to go with them! Her aunt Jackie totally rocked as a stylist and gave great advice on what to wear. Her great expressions in her photos really highlighted her sweetness and brought out the tender moments. She really is so much more than just a beautiful face and yet her face is so beautiful.
When Termayne showed up to his shoot in a suit we had no doubt that he was going to be successful in whatever he does in life. His cute smile reflects his chill and fun personality. Having friends tag along on shoots is always fun and Termayne did just that and brought Courtney Berry. It brought out the silly side of him and kept him motivated, not to mention she was there to hold his stuff while he looked good in front of the camera! We’re pretty darn sure he’s ready to take on the University of Kentucky and all that the future holds for Termayne.
