Bolingbrook’s spring musical is Hello Dolly, and man did they rock this performance! What a show! I had a wonderful time last Thursday meeting Bobby Johnson the super talented director and his crew. What an amazing set design done by Brian Bilodeau, costume Trudy Basel out did her self with costumes, and you will not believe Barb Camerano’s hats. Performances continue this weekend Friday & Saturday March 27& 28th at 7pm. Don’t miss it!
I love Spring!! As a former theater girl, there is a point in Spring, right before Spring Break when I can just tell it’s musical time. And as a former Wheaton North girl it was super fun to go back to that theater… it still smells the same! Memories…

Come see Blithe Spirit at Oswego East this weekend, Oct 29th-Nov.1st. The show is about Charles, his second wife Ruth and Charles 1st wife Elvira who comes back from the daea. The show is super interesting and funny as the characters figure out what to do. The farce is set in 1940’s England and is sure to make anyone laugh out loud in their seats!
Truly, this was a huge highlight for me this year. I was super lucky to get an all access pass to document this awesome production, and to hang out with these super talented students. They are awesome, and they know it! I really want to thank Brian and Jamie Fruits for letting me hang out. I have never seen an entire cast and crew have so much respect and admiration for a director. I also so moved by how tight this cast was, and how they worked perfectly together as a team, and supported each other.
I have the honor and privilege of photographing the students of Oswego East High School and their production of Les Miserables. This awesome group of students welcomed me and Anna, and we even got to shoot some portraits too. I can’t wait to go back next week and photograph their performance! Last time I saw Les Mis I was in London and totally had jet leg and slept a bit through the performance so I am really looking forward to seeing it again!
